Thyroid Cancer

The thyroid is a butterfly-formed organ toward the front of the neck, underneath the Adam's apple. It has two flaps, a right and a left. A thin piece of tissue called the isthmus interfaces the two flaps.

The thyroid makes substances called chemicals that are fundamental for the body to appropriately work. These chemicals circle in the blood and assist with controlling internal heat level, pulse, weight, and digestion 

The two fundamental chemicals made by the thyroid are thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). Together, these are frequently alluded to just as "thyroid hormone." The thyroid purposes a mineral from your eating routine called iodine to deliver these hormone. Certain food sources and iodized salt contain iodine.

There are four pea-sized organs on the rear of the thyroid organ. These are known as the parathyroid organs. They control how much calcium in your bloodstream

Thyroid nodules
Thyroid nodules are little, frequently round areas of unusual development inside the thyroid organ. Most are not  cancerous. Very small nodules generally shouldn't be visible or felt, however a huge nodule  might be found during a hand assessment of the neck.
